Greetings all, so happy to have found this forum on the 600. I bought this one as my birth year watch and couldn't be happier with it.

A real beauty, and with an exceedingly rare dial at that.

Thank you, and thank you for the information on the dial. I have seen one other fully indiced with the same faceted numbers and a date, and another in a champagne with the same fish scale texture and gilded hands, but otherwise I haven't seen another exactly the same. I was initially looking at an Air King for the birth year piece, but having other Omegas, a vintage Seamaster seemed the obvious choice. This one totally blew me away so that was that.

The collection grows... Damaged crystal but otherwise a nice little watch, reference 135.011. Even these plain Seamaster 600s are surprisingly eye-catching.

Can anyone recommend a (affordable) bracelet for SM600? Modern or vintage. I've been using this mesh bracelet from Jürgen's and I think it looks good but I would like to expand my bracelet horizons.

have you tried https://forstnerbands.com?

I own a BoR bracelet from Forstner. Very good quality but doesn't look right on a Seamaster 600. Maybe a Rivet Bracelet would work better.
I think unless you lock for vitage bracelet on EBay it would hard to get.

I'm currently in the process of sympathetically restoring one of these. The service crown is about to be replaced and the crystal needs replacing.
All the crystal suppliers seem to think the crystal for the 136.011 is 31.6mm. but the one I have taken out is 31.4mm and 1mm lower dome. Anyone know why this would be. Did it ever change? Anyone know where I can get an Omega replacement?

Actually the 8220 is a 7 bead version (as opposed to the 9 bead version in my photo) I bought one recently with #11 endlinks which are 18mm
I think both BOR versions look very nice on this watch.

Just for completeness I can tell you that I got hold of a 31.4mm tension ringed plexiglass that looks great though it isn't Omega original (doesn't have the symbol in the middle of the crystal). Clearly, Omega generic modern day replacements are being mis-labelled as suitable for the 136.011 case so be warned.
