Love all the mark series, on bracelet at least the mk2 wears better on my wrist than the regular Speedy. Have owned mine for a few years now but finally decided to have it refurbished a couple of years ago. I liked the fact it was untouched before but in most instances you struggled to see the original grain due to scuffs and scratches.

Wonderful soleil brushing on the top side !

It was serviced and refinished by Nesbit's earlier this year. It still looked pretty nice when I bought it though.

They have been launched in 1969. This one has a serial-no. 305…
I bought it from the first owner, a few years ago. Everything original and in very good shape.

I can see a Mk III and a Mk 4.5 in my future. Really what I want is a day date indicator in a Mk III case, but you take what you can get!

Just let slip a 145.012 Mark II that I was going to trade for my Sinn 156. It would have paired nicely with my 145.022 from 1969. I almost bought a new one in 2014. Now I think I might try for a "Mark 4.5" as I really like the cal. 1045/L5100.

That Mark III is shaped like the command capsule on the screen. A comparison I would never have made before. Thanks

This is making me pine for my Mk II, which is at STS being serviced. I still have the Mk III to keep me company though.
