Yup, she's rolling her eyes as I type this. She's more worried because I've found a home for Omega enablers!
Oh well tell her to look on the bright side, long as your cash is on your wrist, it isn't tucked into some stripper's thong
Dude, you're psychic. We were just at dinner and I was explaining to Laura that this is a good hobby. I happened to close my case with "and he's not out chasing skirts at a bar - he's at home in front of the computer."
Hi all second post here. My name is Mike. Dennis the enabler pointed me here. Another forum for wasting valuable family/work time. I post with the prefix of Cajun on most of the othe forums. I see a few familiar names here. Look forward to participating although my posting time seems to be more and more limited. I use this handle on a few other forums to keep under the skirts radar in case she gets to snooping around. I have a few omegas that she knows about and a few she doesn't.
Hey Mike, good to see you here. Funny you mention alternate screen names - I have one or two myself. Most of them were done as a joke on WUS but they eventually got sniffed out.
Thanks guys. Yeah SDM is a good analogy have a few sock drawer watches too. Yeah Dennis I've got an alter ego over at wus. I Don't use this one there. Its funny how you are treated with a 10 post count vs a 1000 post count. How do I post pics here? I don't keep the good stuff on my computer.
Try clicking this image in the top right of the editor window: You can then paste in your BB codes (which is what Photobucket etc all provide). Hope that helps.
Hi everyone, I'm Philip, a proud Speedmaster owner since buying it new in the mid-70s. Always wanted this particular watch, and it's been on my wrist for over 30 years. Here's a picture of my watch after I took the back off to adjust the timing. I really don't know why the picture came out so well, it was the only snap I took. Also a bit of NASA buff, and made up my own velcro watchbands to as much authenticity as I could manage (being a scale modeller in my youth - who wasn't?) - I'm pretty happy with the results of the LM and watch strap, but obviously photography isn't one of my strengths.
Hi Philip. Welcome to the forum. That is a great movement shot! Sometimes the Watch Gods help in weird ways. Sometimes the camera does the work. Sometimes you just get lucky. When all 3 happen, you get excellent results.
Hi Philip nice photo, and nice watch. I was a bit of a Nasa freak as a lad too. Then I discovered that girls could fly me to the moon. Love speedys tho, my fave is the 125
