Hi Philip nice photo, and nice watch. I was a bit of a Nasa freak as a lad too. Then I discovered that girls could fly me to the moon. Love speedys tho, my fave is the 125

LOL, very true.

My wife's favorite song is Julie London's Fly Me To The Moon, but that doesn't help me when I've taken over the kitchen table with my Apollo kits.

Those Adelaide girls man, they've always been a special breed. Especially the Port Power supporters, knew one once with leg half nearly an inch long.

Hi' all,
greatings from a newbie to this forum. Have been a Omega fan for about 10 years now and I'm actively collecting especially Speedies and now SM300's. 41 years old and from Denmark. Looking forward "talking" to your all and learning something new. Below some of my watches.
Have a nice weekend.

Hello All,
I own two lovely 750 gold Omega watches, a ladies and a gents. They belonged to my late mother and father. They'd bought both of them in their home town of Zürich Switzerland in Novemeber 1983. I am keeping my mother's watch for now but will sell my father's and so I'll be posting some detailed pictures so that I can learn more about them both. Here's a quick photo of each to go with this introduction. Thank you to everyone for giving your time and information on this Forum.
Regards, Roger.

Very nice, can't wait to see more pics. There's a nice little video of the watch on the Omega site, is there a jewel on the 7 o'clock marker, or is that an optional extra ?.

The "jewel" is only for the ladies 36mm version - no gems embedded in the face of the 41mm.

I'll start things off...

Hello, my name is Trevor, and I have a mechanical watch fetish. I'm a designer by trade building websites powered by ExpressionEngine, and working with various e-commerce platforms. I live on a sailing yacht with my wife and Bengal Cat.

My previous watch was a Rolex Datejust w/silver dial, domed bezel. I sold this one, but always regretted it. My current is a Seamaster Chronograph 2598.80 (which I've just changed over to a 2599.80/blue bezel). My next will likely be a Planet Ocean (or perhaps ceramic Submariner).

I'm an admin/mod on the forum along with a couple of others. I'm also mostly responsible for the design you're using now (hope you like it).

We wanted to put together a watch enthusiast community with a good/usable design, run by fully competent sysadmins on great hardware, and powered by a modern forum (software) platform.

Hope you enjoy your stay!

Cheers 😀
Hello Trevor,

Need guidance as a newbe to forums: Need to post a question to Speedmaster savvy members on my Speedmaster model 3210.50 with Caliber: Omega 1164 movement, and ask if anyone knows what the case back number and the metal bracelet number is. I need it to buy a leather band for it!

Thanks so much,

He used the same name and avatar to spam another watch forum. I hate spammers.
