    Hi everyone!

I'm Kathleen from Malaysia. I'm a retail staff for the OMEGA boutique here. I've only been in the watch industry for 3 years (2 with OMEGA) so I consider myself a novice. I like the depth of knowledge on topics I find here so I guess I'll be picking your brains more than contributing (bear with me, hopefully).

    Cheers:)

    Welcome Kat ,
Working for Omega in Malaysia sounds very interesting. Tell us more about you and your shop. What city are you in?

Another welcome Kathleen, does the term "Mates Rates" crop up in Malaysia :D

Sure you will enjoy it here, lots of knowledge and almost as many laughs.

I'm in Kuala Lumpur and the boutique is in a shopping mall called Pavilion KL. If anyone of you have been here its located right smack in the middle of the shopping district. I've worked in retail for 12 years now, initially in the jewellery business (Tiffany & Co. for 8 years). My first switch to watches was for Jaeger-LeCoultre, then OMEGA. So far its been great!

No. No idea what "Mates Rates" mean. Care to enlighten?

My own pieces are the Constellation (123.10.31.20.05.001) and 2 Speedmaster Chrono Ladies (3834.78.38 and 324.30.38.40.04.001). The latter was featured on Fratellowatches few weeks ago.

No tickets necessary. Trev's side project is a transporter. He'll beam us there. When I get the parts for the US pod, I'll assemble it. No worries, I used to do a lot of high end car alarms, stereos, and cellular phones when I was younger. Can't be too much harder than that, right? We just need a guinea pig for a test run.

I think Noosa might be a better location for a GTG. Few watch retailers but nicer atmosphere than the Goldy. Google it Dennis.
