Anybody ever see a Flightmaster like this?

Someone erroneously installed the crystal from a Speedmaster II.

This watch has bounced around ebay since at least the beginning of the year. I think I've seen it 3 or 4 times.

Thanks for the info, I thought someone sandwiched a speedy bezel into the watch.

Hi all, first post on OF but I have been following and reading for a while just to learn... I am venturing into Flightmaster territory and after having searched and read everything I could get my hands on I am missing concluding comments to a couple of questions:
- Is the Flightmaster only “correct” with two different hand versions (Cadmium coated and normal red/orange ones), disregarding how they are matched to the reference?
- How many different dial variations exist? Seems like three are the consensus with 1 being the 24hrs cal 910 version, 2 & 3 being differently fonted cal 911 versions?

Oh, and thanks for all the invaluable information available. It is so fascinating to see and read!

Hi
just collected the sunburst refurbished flightmaster case. I visited Roger in person and he gave me a quick tour in his workshop. All machines are either modified or created by Roger. I'm very pleased with the result and Roger has a good feeling when polishing - it should not look like a new watch - therefore it's about 1/100mm that is taken off.
Next time I'll attend the process when my big-blue is going the same way - and I'll try to capture the whole process in pic.

Meanwhile please see attached pics of the workshop, Roger and the final result.
Have a nive sunday.

What do you guys think about that one ? Isn't it a bit special ?

There must be an error here.
maybe some mistake when ordering extract? when You order one, You must give SN, but You can also add extra info as well, like REF and CAL. My guess is that user mess-up the REF number (caseback is probably from 145.013) and someone at Omega just put data together on paper and wrote it on extract without noticing the mistake.
One way or another - the extract is wrong 😜

But the extract is not wrong, and there was no mistake...
That's what shows up in the archives.
A 911 in a 145.013 case...

ok, it might be truth, maybe some of the first 911 were mounted in that case, but i'm sceptic, in my opinion omega extract is not the final oracle, so to speak. Archivists can make mistakes You know 😀

I bought it from the first owner, and what he told me does correspond to the extract.

It Starts in 1969 with Raimund a Lufthansa Pilot.
Yollow hands came 6 Weeks Later on the German marked.
So he lives with the red one`s in his flight time.
