This photos 911 also havent got lume dots on 3,6,9 with yellow hands? Is it some version havent got lume dots? I am not flight expert...

Photos from web.. not my watch

It seems quite common to see dials without those lume dots and no evidence of them being applied.

Again did no one buy that book on here?

I have the book, from the day it was released at Baselworld 2018. That dial has nothing special, just another common variation.

Friday afternoon dials. Is it a variation or a mistake?

No it shouldn't 馃榾 Why do you think so?
I thought the same thing years ago due to aftermarket case refinishes. Just saying. shrug.gif

Expecting my "transitional" (911 in 145.013 case) back from Official Time Watch tomorrow after a complete overhaul and case refinishing. Will post some photos ASAP.

voyons.gif

The Transitional is a cal 910 in a 145.026 case, in fact. The transitional dial has a different font on the subdial at 9 :

It was a 145.013 dial where they removed the green paint and printed the running seconds track instead (left). I have an example of extract of archives mentioning a cal 910 in a 145.026 case, with that transitional dial, to confirm that theory.

The other way around doesn鈥檛 make any sense to me. Why would a 145.026 movement/dial be fitted in an early case else than a custom build ? What do the Archives say?

Look forward to see your shade of transitional anyways 馃榾

Time ago i found this example. In this one the dial was switched with a 145.036 one but the movement was still the 910 (i think with some changes).

Rollie used this watch as a tool, not a piece of jewelry, and later when reference 145.036 came out with continuous running seconds subdial at 9, he found that function to be more useful for him and had his watch "upgraded" (as he states in his letter) to new style dial and function. So, the watch still has the Cal. 910 movement and is still a 145.013, but has a 145.036 dial.

Well, this is nothing you can take as a reference. It's a cal.910 altered on purpose to have a running second instead of 24h subcounter at 9 and a later dial to have a correct subcounter. In other words, it's a modded watch with a movement that doesn't feature the functions it should and an incorrect dial. Nice to have a story around it... 52.gif without some storytelling it would certainly be nicknamed 'Paperclip Flightmaster' 馃榿

I've seen and touched a 35M with original circular brush.

Yes they swing both ways. I prefer the circular finish, hard to find though.

No idea. I researched it when I first bought it (because of the single-color pushers) and found that some of the earliest 911s were supplied in 145.013 cases with single-dot pushers for about 6 months in 1971. I don't remember where I found that explanation (and I'm not militating for it if anybody doubts it); but here are a couple of other 911s originally supplied in 145.013 cases, according to their extracts:
https://omegaforums.net/threads/transitional-flightmaster.62988/
https://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/flightmaster-back-bienne-problem-photos-1167178.html

Anyway, apologies in advance for relatively shitty photos. Very happy with the service and the price. The base price for the overhaul was $520, plus $155 for the center wheel and 3rd wheel that Leo determined required replacing. Eight weeks later, he called to say that the overhauled watch was being tested and that it was working well but that he wasn't happy with the amplitude at half-wind power and that the 4th wheel would also have to be replaced, necessitating a complete disassembly again. I received it back a week later with no charge for the 4th wheel and extra work.

My first iPhone8 watch photo . . .

. . . taken last Thursday. All the pics I've ever taken 'til now were with cameras. Finally catching up with the 21st century!
