I would love to learn to fly, my dad did it in a Cesna. I remember going up as a kid and being terrified as it got thrown around by the wind so easily.

My idea is to learn as much as I can on Microsoft flight sim 2020, and take that knowledge to flight school (one day)

My dream "first plane" is the Diamond DA62 - two engines! So if one fails I might not die.. :)

Anything to avoid modern day secuirty at airports..

Know people who work at Diamond. By all accounts I’ve heard a great company...

One of my favourite things to do on Microsoft Flight Sim is to try landing a Cessna 150 on an aircraft carrier. I found it surprisingly challenging as you have to maintain airspeed accurately and touch down precisely on the end of the flight deck. And after you land, you have to hit the brakes immediately or you'll end up in the drink! :D

Landing at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Airport runway 13 was hairy enough in a B747. Coming in low over the city before a sharp right hand turn pretty much straight on to the runway threshold. But in a Concorde? Wow...

First flight 55 years ago........amazing really to think about it...... 55 years before that it was 1914.... Not sure we have made so much progess on the aesthetics and performace front with our 55 years.

There’s a Concorde at the East Fortune Museum of Flight, you can go inside it and the cockpit door is open (but roped off). They also have an Avro Vulcan.

If there is no other option I prefer this kind of submariner/submariner date.

Those ads are legendary. I'd like rolex guys would bring back the gmt master saga. But of course with an improved bezel ;)

As a family we were fortunate to fly on the earlier shuttle flights from Edinburgh to London. Fantastic service :)
