I've always been very interested in identifying the actual moonwatch references used by the astronauts on the moon and I haven't found a nice list anywhere. So using these 2 links and other links and websites I've compiled a little list of the actual Moonwatches. I thought this could be of interest to others too. Maybe this is common knowledge to many?? Please feel free to add information or correct mistakes where needed.

https://datastudio.google.com/reporting/40738bd5-c07f-41f2-aaad-ca5b0aaf9602/page/ZNSUB

Here is an example of how I compiled the list:
If you select for instance Apollo 14 under Mission Name in the second link, you get links to images of the actual watches of Shepard and Mitchell and they obviously have the 145.012 pushers furthermore the serial numbers for Shepard and Mitchell were 75 and 77 respectively and as seen in the first link, the serial numbers from 72 to 97 were 145.012s (between 31 and 72 were 105.012s).

Using obvious tell-tale signs like the single bevel case back and the CB polished lines of the -66 it is often possible to identify the actual model. The NASA serials of the astronaut watches fit the image identification too.

Of the 12 that walked on the moon, I believe 10 had 105.012s (6 x 105.012-65 and 4 x 105.012-66) and 2 had 145.012s and at least 1 x 105.003 (as secondary watch)

As a matter of fact I went through all the images of the astronauts that walked on the moon and compiled this little list based on all information I could find and the images:

I see you have found yourself with some free time, or, otherwise known as a Pandemic Project.
Thanks for taking the time to create the list... interesting that no Rolex Daytona Chronographs were used by the astronauts, at least those that went to the moon.
