Hi! I'm considering buying this Speedmaster. Seller says it's newly served and "all parts original". I can't see the omega in the glass center. There is of course a dent on the left side of the case. How much does that normally effect the price? What are your thoughts? He's asking €3900, which looks like a bargain to me, but i'm not an expert like you guys. Thanks guys.
OK, I got it. To expensive and something is not right with that bezel. Looks like movement parts are different colors and if true, that is never a good sign.
I would complain about the dirt at the pushers and movement if I got it back serviced in that condition. Kind regards Max
Joy Division Fan? How about this -76? https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-omega-speedmaster-145-022-76-barn-find.101597/ This is approved by prominent members ( Not talking of myself of course ; no connection to the seller) EDIT There is an issue with the movement of the watch in the Private Watch Sales so I take back my recommodation My apologies!
Ok, thanks guys! That is priceless information. It would be very interesting to here exactly what off with the bezel? Guess I'll continue looking. @Passover Joy Division fan indeed!
The printing on the left side is very cut off on the edge of the bezel. I’ve never seen one that has so much cut off. Specifically look at the 90.
Unknown, it might be fake, it might be heavy damage to the bezel. I’m not taking the time to check it for being a fake.
The insert and bezel are sold as one piece by omega. Sourcing a DNN to match would be around 800 or more.
I was wondering if it was another brand's bezel that had to be trimmed slightly to fit... Does that ever happen? Anyway overpriced for what it is!
