Hi guys, just wanted to pass by and leave a word. Fortunately, an old friend of mine just moved from Brazil to Germany and personally brought me my two new watches. It was great to see an old chap, receive and host him at my home and at the same time have the two purchased pieces in Brazil after just a few days already here in Germany, in my hand, brought to me in person!

I wanted to thank you all sincerely for the information and advice.

I am very happy with my purchase. These are my first two vintage Omegas. Wanted to share a couple of pictures. They are both gorgeous, I gotta say specially the Rosegold one. Sometimes I find myself spending time just looking at them, specially the later one.

Maybe one day I get to trade the SS, as I am still looking out for a nice Seamaster from the 50s. Who knows?

Wishing a great Saturday,

Rudi.

The rose is beautiful, but that dial design/layout on the SS is always killer to me - thanks for sharing!

The stainless steel automatic is wonderful. Does it have a snap back case and is the retention ring still on?

Nice, hope he didn't bring any other unwanted items from Brazil.

Like what? And more importantly, why on Earth would you make such an assumption if we are talking watches?

Make a sophisticed guess. Hope you know you're all healthy. The assumption was more based on the current situation there, and everywhere..and in Germany as well. I'm fine with the watches though 馃榾
