Teutonic's can be sexy too

Now I know the Teutonic Speedmaster may not be the most loved Speedmaster around town, but a little guilty pleasure of mine has been to have long had a secret soft spot for this Germanic ' zwarte schaap ' cousin of the Pro. I think it's the slightly space age look, the bead blasted steel case and the rebellious 'I don't care what you think' nature of this rendition that appeals to me. Unlike the Pro these always look awful when worn hard so finding one as close to perfect as possible is prerequisite.

My patience paid off when @Aludic scored a very fine example in an auction a few months ago. I had put in an immediate "dibs''....as this was really, "The One", the condition as good as perfect and with a super tight bracelet and B&P to boot. A short time later the new arrival buzz had worn off for @Aludic and I 'got the call', well actually the Whatsapp...but I don't want to be pendantisch here....

Anyway today I had the macro out for an upcoming sales post and thought I'd take a couple of pictures of what I find to be quite a sexy watch with its matt tones and smooth organic lines...

Anybody else with a penchant for these?

I think it’s sexy too in the same way I find the C cased Omegas or Heuer 2000 series sexy. They are very much a product of their time and a style (fashion) forward departure from the safe.
Consider yourself an ambassador of the daring while the masses chase down pie pan Connie’s and Speedy Pros.

I've been a big fan of the 90's Omega vibe since I was fortunate enough to receive a Polaris for my 21st in 1990:

Have since complimented it with a pre-bond diver

The Teutonic is firmly on the wishlist

That was a serious gift for a 21st birthday! I think I got new tires for my VW for my 21st.

I personally love the Teutonic and Speedmaster Mark V case design. Definitely not the only one here!

Spectacular! Has anyone called a second dibs on this? If so, I’ll toss my hat in 😉 Such a unique and interesting reference.

@cristos71 is one of the few blokes talented enough with a camera to make the Patek Cubitus look good
Photographers aren’t magicians, and no amount of photoshop can polish that turd.
