·You can only know that you've been a fool. Never that you are being one.
It a relativity issue.... in the pub when you call someone a fool you maybe correct at that moment..but at the point the word hits their ear they might be a very very dangerous person.... I think that is why it is mostly only used via the keyboard and interweb these days ;0)
