My dive friends got in such a tizzy about "octopus, octopi" that we now refer to them as "octopus" (singular) and "octos" (plural).
What is wrong with "Look at the baby hippo with the other hippos"?
Damn college boys always making the simple more difficult!

Having spent my whole life in construction and most of it before h&s was even thought of I wouldn't be in the least surprised 🤦

ahhh…..the days when pain from doing stupid things would stop people doing stupid things.


Working at a wharf nowadays it’s a laugh watching people put a hard hat and a vest on and think they can now walk under a crane with a container 20ft above them….

Don’t knock the modern PPE... I have an old British Rail waterproof orange safety jacket I use at home in the wet .... and I have never ever been hit by a train while gardening ;0)
