·Yes, it is hard to see indeed, but I think you are right.... maybe you can take a clear photo of the dial only once you have taken it apart
I'll do my best! My projects usually go 'wow! That turned out great! Wish I had of taken a before pic!'
Due to the fact the the numbers are raised gold paint (almost like a gel paint), I'm suspecting that the original black borders around the numbers might have worn off and someone has tried to hand paint the borders back on.
Another question to the group - does anyone know if the 2577-6 case used an o-ring? It does not say it needs one on the case back. The watch came with one but it fitted poorly. There doesn't seem to be a groove that one would sit in.
