Any owners here? I’m not particular to just Suunto, so if there are Garmin people definitely jump on in. They definitely are not fashionable, but depending on your occupation (current law enforcement) or sports they are great. GPS, altimeter and HR. The closes to a smart watch I go. I’ve had it for about 6 years and takes a beating. The straps aren’t the best but the rest has held up.

Garmin Fenix user here. Stores all the music I need for bike riding, plus it tracks my biometrics so I can see how things are progressing through the year. Pairs with Probeats flawlessly.

No complaints. I still wear a real watch when I ride. It irritates my buddies 😀

Had a Suunto 7 for a while, mostly for hiking/climbing and cycling, as the priority for me is topographic mapping, and routable navigation, but its reliance on Wear OS impacted the battery life, so it wasn’t great for multi-day activities.

They’re about due for a model refresh soon, so it’ll be interesting to see how they implement newer technology, in relation to the competition.

If they come up with a second generation 7, and improve the battery life, I might be persuaded to give up the Garmin Fenix Seamaster… 😉

I have a Suunto, but it's my dive watch. Suunto D4i. That being said, I wear my SMP as a backup!
