I know little about the mine field that is the Submariner, but especially enjoy seeing the models without crown guards. Perhaps some owners of Submariners without crown guards would post some nice photos.

When was the last Submariner model having no crown guards produced?

I'm sure a lot of people have them on OF. Really nice looking watches. I wanted sub for a while, but eneded up buying Explorer 2, and I'm loving it, but sub bug is still there!

One oldie. Looking for a nicer dial if anyone has access to one.

Some early Submariners without the crown guards didn't show the Submariner name on the dial. Weren't these called a Turn-o-Graph?
