It’s common for the lume to “fizz up” …. Also common that the hands and dial age differently.
I see, I've always thought that to tell a re-lume is to look at how uneven the tritium is applied to the dial.
I guess that is not the case.
What are some things to look-out for to avoid re-lumed dials? Aside from the lume still existing, of course.
Lume is a bunny hole all into itself. If you figure it out, let me know. The only constant is inconsistency. Gottta say that this issue is not just Rolex. Sometimes its obvious and sometimes its not.
