If you have to save it, watchmakers pliers. Fine tips. Carefully work around the opening until it pops out.
Thanks guys. Yeah, my income stream has been a little shallow lately, so a new spring bar is just way out of my budget.
Geez, what a bunch of comedians...
Actually, it’s an original bracelet spring bar to a 7912, and I’m just trying to free it up.
And Dan, thanks particularly for your snarky response- I owe you one, bro...
I would be happy to send you a bracelet-clasp spring-bar in the mail to atone for my remark. Maybe it was a little snarky, but entirely true IMO. They are expendable parts. PM me with your address and the size of the spring-bar. Seriously, I don't know anybody who tries to preserve original springbars. It's counterproductive.

This is precisely why people get turned off here. I simply asked for advice on how to free up the tip of a spring bar. I really don’t give a fυck if you, or any one else here thinks it’s a waste of time, not worthy of my time, dumb to peruse, easily replaced, original, or an insane adventure.
Thanks. Looking forward to a pic from you of an original, and your tips for freeing up this aftermarket one I have.
