Strip and repaint hands

I am going to finally complete this project that I’ve had on the shelf for a couple of years. It is a LeJour chronograph with a uncommon dial and a case like that of the yachingraf, Daytona, etc. it is powered by a 7733. These hands, which are original to the reference, have been painted. I’d like to strip them and repaint. Any guidance on either operation would be great, thanks!

Try soaking them in a small jar of acetone, leave for a few hours and use a fine brush to see if the paint is softened.

If it has, repeat with a final rinse in clean acetone and allow to dry on watch paper.

Mount the hands on toothpicks (held in a stable base) and use a modeller's spray gun to apply very fine mist of paint, allow to dry and repeat.
If you have to use a brush, use a very fine artist brush and use model paint, use thinners so the paint isn't too thick. May need two coats.
