The bracelet you need for the Apollo 11 45th is the X-33 titanium bracelet:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251906857959?clk_rvr_id=811145080086&rmvSB=true

It'll be a lot cheaper in that auction than from the AD, assuming they'll even get you one

Thanks a lot for your replys, must tell you this community is way friendlier than the Rolex Forum (hope no one gets burn from my words)

I had looked at that bracelet but stoped from bidding because it wasnt the same reference as the one in the one recomended before. Seems it should work though...

How about deployment buckels? I have seen from 16mm to 20mm but I really dont know which one should work

Common sense tells me the leather bracelet should be the one that fits and I should work my way to find a bucle that fits that, am I right?

For example I really like this leather bucle: OME-97527079 - First option on this link http://www.ofrei.com/page760.html

Being 20 MM that should fit the watch right?

Sorry for all the questions, I really appreciate the help

Cheers

Andres

18mm deployant fits the 20mm lug Speedmasters, the strap tapers by 2mm from the lugs to the clasp.

I put mine on a Grey Perlon to see what it looks like...

I like the color, but I'm not a fan of the texture of perlon straps. Good experiment though.

Case number is 055TGZ000431. But if they are asking for the case reference to find you a bracelet, then don't hold your breath. If they use the case to look up bracelets for this case, they will find that none are listed. Omega does not list every part that goes with every other part they make, only what the case was originally meant to be mated with, which is of course just he NATO strap. Don't be surprised if they tell you that the only thing they will sell you for this is the NATO that it comes with...

Cheers, Al

Thanks a lot Al, I might just go with a 20mm leather bracelet and a deployment bucle, will surely pay a visit tomorrow to my Omega AD in order to get my facts straight.

Yah, that's a pretty odd pattern to mix with the design details of the 45th. Might just be the lighting however, as the direct sunlight really accentuates the surfaces.

I think @hkrauss has taken one of the more beautiful pics of this combination, many of us, myself included, put the X-33 bracelet on the 45th, and think its a perfect match. Omega part # for the bracelet is 020TIZ000765 I like that a lot

Looks like I'm one of the few who actually likes the brown NATO. I think the NATO really brings out the case, dial, sedna gold etc. whereas the pictures I see here on the titanium bracelet, it seems rather plain and dull because of the color of the titanium.

I agree... Although the best look I've see is dark brown croc leather...

Thanks for the input Bill. Do you have it for sale on ebay or something?

I actually live in Chile, so basically everything is at a considerable distance

My local Omega AD can get them thorugh Omega Switzerland, we will be doing some trails the next week in order to define what they can get me and after that I hope to (finally) add some pictures to honor everyones contribution to this thread

I have to add that I LOVE this speedmaster, if you can get one go for it!

Have a nice weekend

Who's been to Santiago, Chile twice in one year?
Sorry, had to get it out. But for real please post pics when/if you mount the bracelet on your gorgeous 45th. It was my favorite anniversary LE Speedy up until the new Silver Snoopy.

No I don't have one for sale. I just asked my contact at omega for the information on the one he fit me when I bought my watch. He is in Palm Beach at the boutique. I don't know much about the sales outlets in your country, or duty, but I am sure he would be happy to ship one. Bill

Just stumbled upon this thread while contemplating the same question myself, re: compatibility with X-33 bracelet. Just to clarify, it seems that both the newer Skywalker bracelet (eg: pic shown above by @hkrauss) and the older Gen1/Gen2 bracelet fit? The difference seeming to be with the end-links - the Gen1/Gen2 bracelet with a raised middle piece on the end link, while the Skywalker bracelet end-links are flat across, with no raised part. Is that right?

p.s. I've found the black OEM Kevlar strap to be a good match.

Would someone with the knowledge be kind enought to confirm this? I arrived to the same conclusion today, after mi visit to my local Omega AD. Are any modifications needed in order to fit the X-33 strap necessary?

I might add that I am a bit dissapointed with Omega as a brand (not my local AD, who have done a great job to fullfill my needs), after receiving this response regarding my request for a Titanium bracelet:

I have taken note that your customers is not satisfied with the brown coated nylon NATO strap of his OMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 11 45thAnniversary limited edition watch ref. 311.62.42.30.06.001 and that he would like to purchase a titanium bracelet. In this respect, please find below following information:

·As the originals that inspired them, OMEGA's "NATO" straps can easily be adjusted to any length and are thus perfectly suited to every wrist. You will find in the extranet a video explaining how to adjust the NATO strap.

·A titanium bracelet is not available for the Speedmaster model ref. 311.62.42.30.006.001.

·As per our Customer Service Policy, OMEGA maintains the original version of any OMEGA watch for technical reasons and in order to assure the authenticity of the OMEGA watch. For limited or numbered series, no modifications are allowed.

Hello everyone it has Been a long time since my last post.

I tried the titanium bracelet and its definitly not what I want for this watch...

I am now on the titanium deployant quest and have found myself with the problem that not every 20mm leather strap will fit my speedmaster.

Anyone here would be kind enough to guide me as to what leather strap will fit this watch and work with the deployant #94521829.

Thanks a lot!

my roommate has that watch and put a Brown Leather Croc. with titanium deployment clasp on it, purchased from the Omega Boutique in NYC. it looks great, way better than with the NATO. i don't have any pictures off hand, however i would say its the best way wear it, the colors complement each other very well.
