Strange Seamaster on the Bay

Hi all, was just browsing Ebay late at night/early morning as I am wont to do and came across this interesting Seamaster. Tried bringing it up on the OVD but no dice. Anyone know anything about this particular watch? The "S" would be indicative of a pre-1960 watch, no? Still a newbie but have been doing a lot of research/reading/ebaying/pawn-store lurking and to my eyes the script on the dial looks correct. If it's a redial, it's a damned good one. Expert's opinions, please? Thanks!

I'm no expert, but I would guess that it's a redial. If you look at some other watches he has sold they, they'll are immaculate. Redial aside, I would be very happy to wear that watch, or the Longines he has just sold.

This Is a ref. 2991, a smaller cased Seamaster, ~ 30mm. Dial looks OK but those hands are certainly modern replacements. No origional vintage hands would glow like that!馃槖
