I was having a quick browse in my local bricks and mortar shop the other day and spied an interesting looking dial that I haven't seen before (on the right.)

The tag said it was a 58 "Tuxedo dial" but I haven't been able to find anything of that era with a similar dial or any references to tuxedo dials other than modern ATs.

Does anybody own a vintage tuxedo dial?

I've seen a few on the web, one from memory on a gold "Seamaster Grand Luxe". The one in your pic is really elegant.

I've got one before, sold back to seller last year because of movement problem.
    I love the dial.

Yep, still ticking, ;-) it keeps good time the days I wear it but winding feels a bit tight, the reason is number one on my service list, most likely it will take a trip to Canada for spa treatment. ;-)
