Bought this one for the wife 6 years ago. It's a 1999 with 90k miles as of this morning. Took it out to go pick up a few watches at watch maker, but sadly they were not ready.

Wife's away for the weekend so may steal her car for a sunny Saturday afternoon
She usually doesn't look at the odometer before she goes.....as long as the tank is full nobody's the wiser.

No rags on top unless I left a polishing cloth up there, took the passion wagon out for a spin this morning just to loosen things off as it has been sitting far to long.
All set to go for the next adventure to the Highlands and Islands of Bonnie Scotland 馃榿

Sorry there's no "green with envy" emoticon available. We've visited Scotland three times between 2000 and 2008. Many fond memories, too numerous to mention. Sigh! We'd love to do it again, but next time for more than a two week visit! Loved Glencoe! If ever one wanted an image of Scotland to remember, it's Glencoe! At least, to my way of thinking.

It was a glorious 'spring-like' day in Atlanta, and I had to go for a spin after lunch, today.
It was a great day in the area. I am just a few hours up I85 from you. I was working on the wife's truck and "sadly" had to go the auto parts store. I quickly hopped in the 135 and took off. Actually, the top was down from Friday after work to Monday arriving back at work!

Here's a picture from when I bought it in Atlanta last year.

Long gone now, but it was fun...

This one also gone, but was even more fun...

No ragtops in this family anymore. I have my little beater...

And the wife's new car from last summer...

I WILL be test driving an M2 when they are available though!

bimmers and omegas...two on the list of my most favorite things. 馃榾

Not really spring yet but have stopped driving this for a while.

And brought this rag top out of winter storage. Of course, the temperature immediately dropped and the sun disappeared now I don't have a heater...

Cheers, Chris

Could've done with a heater last night sitting on the quay side waiting to board the ferry. Five or six degrees and windy outside and spent an hour and a half stationary. Flying jacket a necessity. I think I was a bit hopeful for nothern Europe switching cars in March....

Cheers, Chris

Only one is really mine.
Hey Unc, it that a manual transitional Jeep? I don't know if it works as well with an automatic but 4 high first gear my Jeep will go over hill 'n dale...20掳+? hills just idling along sitting on the roll bar steering wit me feet, like an elephant ride on trails. Tunes, sip o brew is a great time on a sunny day if has the place...bit more seat (board) atop for my shorter gal who's feet aren't steering. Quite relaxing from when I did it with the hardtop on/foot in window. lol.
~ elephant ride back forty pic. 馃榾

6 speed manual with the 287 horsepower Pentastar.
In low range I can climb trees!

I'm ashamed I'm not sporting a watch, though.

Just brought this out after 10 years in the garage. At the spa right now. e5aceac1b982a55a068f489d6d1cf496.jpg

Wow, memories, that was my first rag-top in Malaya in 1976. A while later, after a few hard tops, a Mazda MX5 (Miata in the US).

After a mix of about 30 cars and twenty bikes I'm now a grumpy old man with a VW Golf R and a Vespa 300 GTS.

So I guess the Vespa is my "open air ride" nowadays. 馃榿

Not a rag top because these weren't made in a rag top. Looking forward to,putting plates on it and hitting the road after 6 months of winter storage. Second picture is from the AMC sales brochure from 1978.

I've had it since '86 and it was 22 years old then.

Way back when, living on long Island, used to have this CJ-7...

Back then (1984) the mirrors were on the windshield so with doors off (most of the time for me) you could drive around legally!

How it looked most of the time.馃槑
