Have you tried re-watching some of the originals ?
We are used to very different shows now. I used to think the originals were good, and when I watched them again recently I tried so hard to recover the fascination I felt back then... and it was very difficult.
But it is true: Selleck as Magnum had a lot more charisma. That said, I kinda like the current Higgy Baby better....

Take your point. Perhaps I just wanted to be something more than it is. It has a rather dismissive attitude to death as well which I find a bit odd.
I agree, I've felt that way too. Trying to recapture the past doesn't always work for me because I've changed too much.
P pete26I haven't been able to catch up with the season yet, but I was wondering if Magnum may get an upgraded watch for example an SMP. The show's creator was sacked from the show before Season 3 and I thought that he might want his Rolex back, which he gave to Jay Hernandez in deference to the original series.
