Omega have actually referred to the 3510.50 as the Reduced for quite some time, perhaps since launch. Here is an extract for an official UK price list from 2001, you can see they use that term in the description

Hi again, just a follow up. Thank for the advice, and warnings! This has been on my wrist the last few days now, running a bit slow. I was interested in a pre-bond Seamaster, and the seller mentioned this watch as well and that is could be for sale. Wallet is lighter than expected but it did come with a 1469/811 bracelet as well. Now i need a link or two for the bracelet.....
