Speedy 861 movement question

Hi all

Thanks to those that responded to an earlier post - i have now taken delivery of this 145.022-69 pre moon.

Just checking out the movement readings and i’m getting beat errors between 0.5 and 0.7 and amplitude between 250-255 on a full wind horizontal face up (higher face down) Does this seem acceptable for an early 861 movement?

Thanks

I believe the lift angle for this movement is 50°, not 52°. Adjusting for that should reduce your amplitude by 10° or so. I would wait for an expert to answer your question on what is acceptable, but I personally would be fine with those numbers assuming the numbers are consistent in other positions.

There are no requirements for full wind amplitude. The amplitude must be over 180 degrees in all positions, 24 hours after full wind for the amplitude to "pass" Omega amplitude specs.

The best error must not exceed 0.8 ms in any position.

As noted the lift angle is 50, not 52, so the readings you have inflate the amplitude, and it is approx. 6 degrees off in amplitude for every 1 degree off in lift angle.

To me as a watchmaker, this is low amplitude for full wind and likely indicates that the watch needs servicing.

So a bit more than 24 hours but getting over
200 (50 deg) and just about less than 0.8 error (dial and up and down so far)

What position? It needs to be more than 180 even in vertical positions...
