Hello everyone. )

What experts can say about the Speedmaster in the attached photos (sorry for quality - that's all I have for now..) - this is a model from the 60s? 105003-105012..?
Do these watches look ok?

I understand that it is very difficult to judge from the presented photos, but I believe that experts will be able to make their own conclusions..?

Thank you in advance for your opinions..

The experts will make their conclusion, but what did your own research reveal? There is a huge difference between 105.003 and 105.012, maybe you should check it out 😉

A look at speedmaster101.com will give you some insight regarding reference
Horrible pictures but there is enough to say it is neither of the references you mention.
It has a step dial and later bracelet.
And the bezel has been fitted incorrectly.
Need better pictures and inside movement and caseback focused photos.
Did you buy it?

I apologize, of course I wasn't right with 105.003.. - it definitely can't be this ref due to lugs shape.. Shame on me.. ::facepalm1::
My question more about overal condition of this watch and it's reasonable cost.
The situation is: i catched it and should decide to keep it or let it go..

It's impossible to say anything useful without much better photos, more information, and the price you paid.

OK, that's a start. Now post more information about the watch and better photos. The watch could be any of several references, and we can't judge condition at all. If you are asking for help, I think you might try a bit harder.

No movement pictures? Really can’t say much about overall condition from these photos and no inside info.
As soon as you get it have it opened and post good photos of w everything here
What is your return window?

This is an impulse buy on eBay, so I can cancel the deal now or return it after I receive it and find out something is wrong.

You're right - the photos are bad..

The more I think about the more I like to return my money back.. (

We all understand impulse buys!
This was a rather brave one. Do you have a specific hope about this one- what it might be? It could be ok or even good, depending on the reveal.
The bezel has been off, and reinstalled by someone who doesn’t know what they are doing.
But it might be 145.012 with 321 movement, or 145.069-68 transitional either of which is good option if the SN and Caseback info line up, and condition is decent - lots of ifs
🤞

All we can say from those photos is that’s it’s a 145.012-67 to a 125.022-68.
The bezel looks poor-average.
The dial looks average, could be better, could be worse, impossible to tell.
The case could be the next part, but again, it’s impossible to tell from these photos.
The bracelet is a modern replacement.

The only way this makes sense is if you get it cheap and gamble I it being better in the flesh.

So, assuming it’s the least valuable ref; 145.022-68, a running/fair example is $3800 on sp101. You’ve paid $4600. That means to be buying at roughly the correct price you’re gambling on condition being between fair and good. I’d say that’s a gamble with little potential upside.

I would also say that’s a these are things that should be considered before pulling the trigger. Pictures are poor but you can always ask the seller for better ones. I don’t think it’s really fair on sellers to commit to buy, then do due diligence after the fact.

Thank you, David ..
I asked seller for better photos + additional photo of the inside: mechanism and cover..

But, frankly, now I am not as inspired by this purchase as before.

I don't think the seller will be very happy to receive a request for additional photos after the auction has ended. And I don't blame them.

I can only agree with @Davidt assessment, it also has a service crown.
But if I understand everything correctly - you can return the watch?
May I ask on what reasons? How did the seller present/describe the watch?

But if you can get more, and better pictures before he ships the watch to you (and that you have not paid for the watch yet),
that would be a big bonus for you!

You have to count in a service for the watch...adjusting the bezel, and there seems to be chronocreep on the hour subdial.
And the lume on the dial looks like there is discoloration/mold on the step?

But on the bright side, the case and caseback looks promising, it has had a polish, but hard to see if the brushing is still there.
And the bracelet has value!
👍

Hang in there, and keep us updated!
I have bought Speedys with worse pictures than yours!
😉😉

But you know, it's more a question of the right attitude towards other people - it's not hard to take such photos, right?
It's a question of closing a deal for 4.5 thousand and it's good to be open to your client..
My request for better photos was rejected, so I asked to cancel the purchase, since for me it's still a "pig in a poke"...

How did seller describe watch? What was return policy? If sale was “as is” and “no return” and not misreprented then it’s hard to justify return based on buyer remorse, particularly if already shipped.
But EB is skewed toward buyer. If I was seller and hadn’t shipped yet I would probably just cancel sale to avoid likely complaint that would end in buyers favor to avoid the hassle.
Keep in mind many here are sellers as well and have experience from that side.
