·Not fully sure about it. I think I like it but I've grown boring and these days have trouble paying these prices for something that doesn't at least have a ceramic bezel (assuming I'll wear it often).

You had me at paying these high prices....
I am a fanboy of the Speedmaster, and Omega watches in general. I will continue to be so, but I simply cannot keep up with the elevation in pricing. Not just the new Omega watches, it is the used Omega watches as well. I guess I am feeling fortunate that I was able to buy in early, but whether used or new I am afraid I am now out of the watch buying game (but I will buy the gold speedy bracelet for my skeleton speedy from the OB).
I remember when $2,900 for a used Gemini 4 was something I had to think about. My thought was damn that it too much money, but the watch is so very nice, I have to have it!

·Had mine reserved, page hung, couldn't complete the order. Took a deep breath, opened a new browser window, and was able to reserve the exact same number. I think I might like the original ST slightly more, but this one actually has the cooler details: in addition to the beveled subdials, AML, old school logo, and loopy Speedmaster font, this one also has a stepped dial (!) and DON bezel( !!). I've been toying with buying a "racing" Speedmaster of some flavor, but I think this one will scratch that itch very nicely. Well done, Robert-Jan!

It did say Summer 2018. I have heard July and August, since they probably wanted to avoid what happened last time.
