Speedmaster dust cover evolution

Almost certainly for a BA Speedy I would think, no steel Speedmasters came with a gold coloured dust cover. I think the movement ring is from the 861 era.

Sorry to revive the post, but i was wondering if 145.012 dust cover has any for sale over here? If not does omega able to get their hands on that fit one?

Good question actually, now that you show this photo i am starting to wonder if sapphire version actually do has a dust cover... or is there some sort of cover that allows the movement to sit on the caseback perfectly while still showing the movement 863/1863...馃槜

My guess is sapphire version most likely doesnt come with dust cover? probably a spacer or a movement ring only for the sapphire version?

the ones on my 105.003-65, my 145.012-68 and my 145.022-68 all look like the 3rd one from the right
is that the same as the 2nd from the left?

This one is a model 345.0808 which was introduced in 1980, and is an example of the first Speedmaster with the clear back (mine is from 1990). So, there never was a dust cover/magnetic shield on the model.
