Speedmaster Dial issue

Hi all!

new to this forum and looking for help or advice.

I have had my Speedmaster 9300 for about 4 years, keeps great time, no issues but just noticed these weird marks around the outside of the subdial at the 3 o’clock position.




I have never noticed them before which makes me think they are new but maybe I just never noticed?

Has anyone seen this before? Is it dust or damage?
