Hi everyone! I was offered this Omega Speedmaster ref 145.022 71ST. I want to ask you guys if this would be a good buy for 3k euros as I’m far from an expert especially when it comes to Speedmasters.

I want to buy it, it looks very nice to me. I was wondering if everything is correct and original, and of course if the value is right.

Everything looks correct. It seems to be a very honest -71 with a super nice dial. The asking price is quite low so you should buy it 👍.
The gasket is melted and it probably needs a service as there what looks like a piece of meat on the movement...

Everything looks original to me. Crazing on the crystal so I anticipate dial looks better than it appears in photos. Minute hand appears to have lost its lume but I cant tell for sure. Case appears to be in good condition but would obviously need more pictures to assess more accurately. Overall would say that you would be getting the piece below market value.

Anticipate costs and timing of an immediate service.

The price price you’ve quoted is low enough to make the service costs a no-brainer.

I hope this works out. Often when the buyer hesitates to ask for advice, the seller has time to realize that his asking price is too low.

I'd jump on it quickly if I were you, even if it doesn't run correctly. Looks like service is due anyway. Hope you get it!

I got it guys! It is actually very nice. The only bad thing is e ding on the bezel. Otherwise is awsome and I absolutely love it. Here are some pictures… before and after a quick polish of the cristal.

Wow, you got a spectacular deal at that price! Congratulations. Now all you need is a period correct bracelet for it. It's pretty cool to think that when your watch was likely manufactured, the Apollo moon missions were still flying. My '71 says hello.

Is the bracelet from your picture the right one for mine also? If yes, can you please tell me what ref should I search for? Thank you!
