Bezel and hands are later, probably changed during a service.
Study up a bit on the year/model you want to buy and this will be easy enough to spot. Plenty of resources here on the site to help, just do a bit of searching and reading.

Spot on. Additionally, the bracelet might be the original one (those 1171/1's were around in the later 80s), however, it has been mounted incorrectly. The fold on the links connecting to the case are facing outwards rather than inwards. Bit sloppy, but an easy fix.

Thanks for the info! Makes me more comfortable making the purchase.

Thank you, as time is a factor, I reached out for help. I appreciate the info on the bezel and hands though

Got my answers, would like the photos removed at least
The whole point of the forum(and a big part of why people actually helped you) is to keep stuff like this so that in the future folks can refer to them and learn from what you posted and the feedback that was given. So no, the admins/mods are almost definitely not going to delete anything.

That is not how this forum works, i.e. you come in asking for free expert opinions, get them, and then want the thread, or at least the photos, to disappear because you 'got my answers'. It's a community, not a one way info channel. Looking at your small number of posts they center around looking for advice on a purchase, but there is no giving back to the community.

Makes sense, thank you

Interesting, why would they get deleted?
The poster can edit their posts at any time. I think there are rules about that in the seller forum, but maybe not here. Someone could probably repost them.

OP please reinstate the photos. Old threads become learning opportunities for others seeking info on the same reference in the future.

If I had to guess, the OPie is scared that the more collecting gremlins see the watch, the more likely it is that someone buys it before he can finish his haggling.
