No chance of finding one in the UK for £1000 in that condition with bracelet. I would happily buy a dozen!

So if I was going to try and haggle for this one, what is a fair price to pay?

Also, what am I likely to get by selling the beads of rice bracelet separately either on the forum or on ebay?

They are out there. It’s just that when nice ones are offered at reasonable prices, they sell quickly. They have popped up here occasionally.

What you are seeing are the leftovers. There is a reason they are not selling. Either bad condition or bad prices.

The bracelets go for $150 to $300 separately, depending on condition.

Ok so maybe £1500 seems like a reasonable figure.

A realistic price in my view would be £1500 - £1800 and maybe get £200 back on the bracelet. However as this is a dealer I can’t imagine you will get anywhere close.

Yes that’s a fair point. I suppose they need their markup back for operational costs.

I agree that it’s extremely hard to find a good pie pan in the UK for £1000. Watches are just a bit lore expensive here so I think closer to £1300-1500 is right, although with luck you may occasionally get one for near £1000. The thing is, if you have to ask here for advice on one’s that are a great buy, someone else will buy them before you get chance. You need to have the confidence and knowledge to pounce when they come up.

A BoR will sell for around £200 depending on condition. A dealer is going to get nowhere near the prices quoted above.

You think?

Several years ago Hodinkee had a white gold one for $40k. Before that I’m sure one sold on eBay for around 15k but we’re probably talking 7 years ago. You just don’t see white gold 50’s/early 60’s Connie’s in white gold so they go stratospheric when they come up.
