ยทNow this is a plastic 'toy' watch. And the parts to repair it, probably cost close to that of a moonswatch.
Repairing many desirable watches can cost close to the price of a moonswatch. And what does one have in the end. Just a franken which is worth the value of the parts needed to do the whole victor F thing for another watch.
Most of these are going to sit around in boxes anyway. I never really wear any of the swatches I got in the 1990s. They just sit in their boxes. Only opened to remove the batteries.
It is also not that likely that I am one for selling watches. I am just not mean and tricky enough or even have the street smarts to do so.
