I think you have become a bit too involved in this. I've never seen anything you've written that would make me "hate you" but, of course, I don't read every thread.😉 It just seems unlikely that you've said anything on a Watch Forum that would cause that sort of reaction especially from the Guys on here. It's difficult when you feel hard done by but as @cicindela says, it seems best to just let it drop.

Regards, Chris

Oh, here's a quick picture of my one f300 for me to finish with. To the OP, looks a nice watch and the humming is very cool.

I was not referring to you or members in general. The ones who I am referring to know who they are and so do other members when they look back over the thread. I have done nothing majorly wrong here, yes some minor mistakes had been made on the redial issue. Anything I have done or said that was harsh was done in self defence, the initiators and others that tagged on know who they are. Sorry, but if I walk away from the thread they have won and it will continue on other threads. I am willing to drop the issue as long as other do the same while I am on the thread. I suggest we all congratulate Richard on his Omega, after all that is what the thread is about.

Does every thread have to go this way?

It's really starting to get on my tits.

Bloody well stop it.

There's nothing to win Patrick, please stop acting like a petulant child.

You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
You can also catch more flies with a steaming pile of S🤬T.
But who would really want to catch more of the nasty little airborne disease carriers in the first place? I guess I just never understood the choice of flies. Personally I try to get rid of the nasty little pests.

See how AC106 keeps liking the comments every time someone wants to have a go. This AC106 member did not like my comments regarding grey market a few weeks ago. He now trolls all my threads and supports negative comments against me. The haters are going for it just look at the history of the thread.

Now I am the bad guy. A couple of people have attacked me today and everyone wants me to go away and just take it.
I gotta tell you Patrick, if you go back and read the beginning of the thread, the generally deplorable behaviour started with you calling Ed a "stuck up idiot". Prior to that, the comments had all been about the watch, and the dial. Granted, Ed could have been more diplomatic when pointing out that your comments were wrong, but by your own admission you didn't have any expertise.

One of the things that is enjoyable about this forum is the willingness of the seasoned members and astute collectors being willing to share their experience with those of us that are trying to learn. But calling folks names, and making it personal certainly makes it less pleasant for all of us and I would ask you to please stop.

Patrick, please take a deep breath and calm down.
I'm going to give you some advice, whether you take it or not is up to you.
If I were you I would join some other watch related web forums, WUS is probably your best bet, the guys on the Omega section there really know their stuff. You could learn a lot from them and I'm sure you would feel right at home there.
You could PM one member who goes by the user name Horologist who will tell you everything you need to know about Omegas, what he doesn't know about Omegas isn't worth knowing.
When you have learnt a bit from him you can come back here with the knowledge that members will take you seriously.

Time to move on folks.

Patrick has taken himself away. There's nothing to be gained in raking over the coals. No rubbernecking please !
