Solid gold Aqua Terra question

Hello, looking at possibly purchasing a solid gold Aqua terra 8900 on the leather strap. I have recently learned that omega still uses stainless steel spring bars in their solid gold watches, unlike Rolex who uses gold spring bars to deter the spring bars from oval-ing out the lug holes.

Is this an issue with the solid gold Aqua terra/omega watches? Seems silly to me on an 18k watch they’d cut corners, but I’d hate to drop that kind of coin only
To have loose spring bars and a deformed case in a few years from the stainless steel wearing at the gold.

I’m probably just being crazy but wanted to know anyone else’s first hand experience, maybe you or omega knows something I don’t?

thanks!

Thanks YY77, I had read that as well and gave me a little comfort. Was hoping some others with similar watches would chime in and share their experiences.

I actually have a 18k WG Carrera since '08, it has steel springbars, lugholes looked fine last time I changed straps.
