OK, I haven't been able to sort this on my own, so I'm hoping someone can help. We there older Aqua Terras with smooth faces (sans teakwood)? I've had trouble finding the series... admittedly I'm a noob.
https://watchbase.com/omega/aqua-terra?sort=release There were automatics as well, I just pasted that one because I knew the number off the top of head. If you sort this link by year, it should group them
They were mostly smooth with the exception of the silver dial which was considered a “sunburst dial”. the reference is 2502 and 2503 followed by either a .10, .20, .33, .50, etc. (2503.50) hope that helps! Awesome watches by the way. I prefer the teal dial but I once upon a time had the black, blue, and silver versions and really liked them.
Here’s mine which appears occasionally in WRUW thread. Without getting out the paperwork from memory it’s from 2005.
Circling back on this... I'm definitely interested in one of these. They're thin and have the 2500 movement and a smooth face. 39.5mm (2503.XX) 36.0mm (2504.XX) My ideal watch would probably be a 38mm. That said, I've read that the long lugs on those earlier models make them wear larger than the size would indicate. Thus I'm thinking of the 36mm over the 39.5mm. Anyone own one or both of these early models? Any thoughts?
There is a 2504.30 in the Private Watch Sales of the Forum: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-aqua-terra-2504-30-00-set.100682/#navigation
Saw that one. I think I'm a black-and-white guy, not silver, But first I'd love to have some feedback on the sizing on those ATs from the aughts.
here is my 2502.33 blue and white. it’s the 42mm size but I personally think it wears smaller than that. My sub c seems to wear bigger. Here are a couple pics. I have it on the blue leather at the moment. I sold the bracelet and brown leather though as I was not a big fan of the styles.
Looks good. Anyone else with the 2503 39.2mm or 2504 36mm or someone who's familiar has both? what are the odds?
