Yes, it's a stunner! In Australia, GM-H (General Motors-Holden) put out a similar style in 1961-62 in the form of the FB which was "revised" to become the EK. The differences between the two were fairly minor, but it was the first automatic transmission vehicle (3 speed Hydramatic) fully imported unit for Australians.

Owned one of these for a while, part of Australia and indeed vehicular history, 53 holden fj ute

Matt is my name, photo taken on a work trip to Germany/France/Italy hunting for wines for work, the avatar taken on a day off visiting the spectacular Musee d'Orsay, a photo of one of the clocks, but from the inside of the building

A friend of mine is in Paris as I type this and he sent me a picture of that scene just yesterday...

My internet username comes from the fact that in real life I am surrounded by mush mouth rednecks. I have found it's often easier just to lie and agree with their nonsense than point out the errors in their thought process; plus it can be funny as hell when they fail.

My avatar isn't really what I want. Maybe some photoshop - which I suck at - would fix it. It should read Omega Snake Oil.

Name: Not deaf but about 40 dB less sensitive than the average person (both ears, since birth). The name was inspiration of my roommate during my college years. We were both fond of blues music and the artists had the funniest names: Muddy Waters, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Blind Willie McTell, BluesBoy, etc. so it was a perfect fit. He was of Asian descent (still is) so I called him LeJaune (The Yellow), a spin of JB Lenoir's name (The Black).

Avatar: picture I took of a Turaco bird. There is something joyous about his expression that I found endearing.

Perfect!

Well, almost. I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth but could you make the snake oil text a little bigger.

See legibility...

Hmmm...

For some reason the site is showing the second avatar. I deleted it, changed the file name and I even logged off and back on.

Matty, that is easily one of my favorite museum buildings anywhere in the world (not to mention the art itself)! Great photos!

Mine comes from the vintage car I've got. A 1963 Triumph TR4, who's hood badge is now my avatar

A long time ago, there were two of us named Ron on the management team. To differentiate, i became easier to just call me "Garv" (an abbreviation of my last name). That was easier than calling the other guy "Amrickovitch".
It just stuck, and I have gone by Garv for the past umpteen years.
Interestingly enough, quite a few of us are now working together again, and the youngsters at the new shop don't call me anything but Garv. (At least to my face, I'm pretty sure behind my back I get called all kinds of stuff).
