The avatar is a picture of another expensive interest.....it's a 1978 BMW R100RS Cafe motorcycle.

My name is Bart and my surname starts with an H. I used to have written down fully and with my DOB and creditcard info, but admins complained it was too long.

The avatar is because someone called me a muppet.

Funny, mine's the opposite! My first name starts with a K and my surname begins with Mart. Someone (my uncle, I think) called me Kmart a long time ago and it stuck. Of course I always get a lot of crap for it online but it's all in good fun. Tracer Bullet is my avatar because C&H is great and he's my favorite of Calvin's aliases.

She was a pushy dame, but she had a case......

I've got 6 slugs in me - One's lead, the rest are bourbon.

No idea how I came up with my user name. One of my best friends was/is fat, and somehow a very long time ago, the idea of fatkids as a username popped in my head.

The avatar is a tribute to tux, the Linux mascot. A few years ago on reddit, someone made a thread where they would draw requests from members and I asked for a penguin similar to tux. This is what I got and I've been using it as my avatar ever since. I think it is a bit unique and pretty cool.

The Maltese Falcon (book and film) is one of my favorites, and I also really like style from the 20s-60s in general. I also like 80s synth music, especially Vangelis, who made "Friends of Mr. Cairo" with Jon Anderson as a tribute to 40s flicks.

Sam Spade seemed too obvious, and perhaps a little too one-dimensional.

Well my avatar is off my MP5-N currently on my gun room wall. It's probably my favorite sub gun to date so I had to have it.

My name is broken down as such

Rod is my nick name and has been since my Marine Corps days
Mar is just short for Marine when I would put my address in for the base I would write Mar. Div. As is Marine Division

Not sure how I came up with the two to make a name but it's my name on several forums.

As explained in the introduction thread, it's just a name I use on other (shoe) forums. It's a dumb name (comes from shoemaker, Allen Edmonds), but it's first one that came to mind and now it's stuck with me. My name isn't Allen. The avatar is something I had handy on my desktop. I'm wearing a Braun watch in the pic.

My username comes from the fact that I was a very funny and fresh kid growing up. I loved the show "the fresh prince of Bel Air" and kind of acted liked Carlton. Now I act more like Will Smith. It stuck with me and I added some numbers at the end because I needed to one time long ago to meet the requirement somewhere for a username. The avatar was a logo designed for my brand. It's a play off of the Knight's of the Medieval times and a watch face. The K is also in the logo design. Since my last name is Knight it just really worked out really well as an all encompassing symbol.

Very similar to mine. Was in the Marine Corps who's motto is Semper Fidelis and my nick name was shells cause it's part of my last name. Somehow I combined the two and have been using it ever since.

I knew it!

Jarhead in the house!

I was going to ask about the "semper" part but I figured I'd keep my pie hole shut.

So it's just my name, real name.

That's me wearing soem Vibergs and RGT sitting on top of a flat door from a ship which was HUGE. I was just lying back and looking out into the water.
