No not a band of gypsies !
Thirty odd years ago we used to go caravaning using our "Scimitar"
Fantastic tow car with its overdrive on third and fourth, no one could complain about us holding them back. 😎

See I got into watches in part because while I really like good art, there you really are limited by wall space!

It would be nice if I could still play this properly!

Old creaky fingers don't move as well as they used to? (If so, we're in the same boat..... or should I say hollow body?)

i guess this is as good place as any to say hi to everyone. i've got the speedmaster pro ll in my avatar, it was my fathers. he bought it new in '69 or '70 i think. i'm a professional bicycle mechanic working in both a shop and for a pro team. understandably i'm mostly into things w/ 2 wheels, like these...

it's actually a 'supertmoto' or supermotard if you're french/belgie. they're pretty much just dirtbikes w/ 17" wheels/tires. they're raced on courses that are 60-70% dirt/30-40% pavement. on slicks or cut slicks. super fun, especially riding dirt on slicks. this is my old race bike...

Nice Norcal, but no Cannondale 🙄
Seriously, nice gear you have. Ardent cyclist myself for many years both on and off road but getting a bit creaky now. Crawled up Ventoux in September and reckon that was the message to call it a day.
Loved climbing in the heat, weird or what ?
A pic of my first Cannondale during a winter trip in Switzerland many years ago.

I can see the 33-1/2 rpm player (or is it 78 rpm?) at the background. Dare I say you are dating yourself? 😉

Love it against the snow-capped alps and blue sky at the background!

Thanks Mary, very fortunate to have had some great experiences.
Some might think it strange but winter cycling in Switzerland can be something special.

They are awesome to work on. This one is sitting ready for customer inspection. I fitted out the cab. I remember loving fire engines from a young age also. Too expensive to collect though lol
