With the prospect of a treat he will work to hand signals every bit as good and sometimes even better than my previous gun dogs.

Our little ladies up there are then truly exceptional.... They've trained us well! We respond to all sorts of subconscious signals.... and we don't get any treats!!! 馃槣

Sigh.... the life of a cat owner!

Oh yeah, she is walking energy. But she is also a sweetheart and trains easy. She's only 2, and yep super fun. Ruby will do anything for a treat and works from hand signals. Here's a more relaxed shot.

I figured she was less than 3 years old. Labs have that look of high energy until then.

My choco, Ruby is way crazy (hyper), compared to my first black lab. But she has an awesome personality, I would not change a thing. Although not a trained as a hunter, she's from a bird dog breeder, smart, incredible drive, agile. Just a great all around companion dog.

It's amazing how different the chocolates are, I have heard people complain about them but I reckon for some reason they have a bit more self determination.

This pair were the greatest of buddies, the black one was mine and the choco belonged to a friend of my wife, they played like children.

The Choco Ruby and the black Hailey, gone now, my first Lab.

Both American Field style. Long Legs, narrow head and body.

I also like these. The one in the foreground was mine. '93 C2, mint.

It's amazing the hobbies we share,
Again in the past, kids grow up and move on to other things as do we.

Funny you say that, because I pulled the boat initially with a Porsche Cayenne. It did a good job, I just felt bad using it as a tow vehicle and got an Excursion in addition to do the dirty work. Much better application.

No not a band of gypsies !
Thirty odd years ago we used to go caravaning using our "Scimitar"
Fantastic tow car with its overdrive on third and fourth, no one could complain about us holding them back. 馃槑
