But I think I'm okay now.

My Omega Tuning Fork arrived and was admired by both the lady in charge and by me.

Then I had this completely out-of-the-blue urge to find out about the Seiko Marine Master because I thought I was having a craving for a black dialled diver.馃槻
So my symptoms took me to various grey market sellers, EBay (of course), Watchrecon (of course ) and of all places youtube.

I must have watched a full thirty minutes of home-shot "this is me proving I have clean hands and can drone on/talk whilst fondling a watch" footage 馃お馃お馃おwhich really didn't inspire me and slowed me down gradually.

The the cure kicked in. I realised that I'm simply suffering withdrawal symptoms whilst my blue wave dial Seamaster Pro is away being serviced. PHEW! ::facepalm1::
That was a close shave; I even thought about a Grand Seiko diver for a moment. Had there been spare cash in the bank account I'd have made a mistake which I would have regretted. :whipped:
I'm alright now.馃榾::psy::

Next time you think you need a MM just Google "marine master stripped case tube" and you will be fine for a while.

So I seeked 'em out at EBay and found nothing and, being of an enquiring mind and 'ungry for knowledge, I searched more widely and quickly found.
I think though, were I seriously in need as opposed to simply pining, I might feel more love towards a Dagaz Diamondback. Or even throw a wider net. But I should just wait for my Seamaster Pro to come home. black-dial-black-bezel.jpg SWORD1-1.jpg

That sounds more painful than a painful experience among the painful tribes in the foothills of painfullia. 馃槻

Did somebody say Grand Seiko Diver? I love mine and it only gains about 5 sec/yr.

Done deal. Actually tried the one with blue bezel, but after wearing it for a week I could not not get over the slight color variation between the bezel and dial. I bought the stainless bezel this week and like it better.

It is a bit on the big side at 45mm and I admit I would like it more if it were 40 or 42mm, but it doesn't wear too big. It's comfortable and as my eyesight goes in old age I'll easily be able to read the time on it. Keep in mind this is coming from a guy whose next largest watch is an old Astronaut that measures in at 38mm.

@Taddyangle interesting choice of drink 馃榾

Went to southern Oregon last week for vacation. The first time ever in Oregon and stopped in Bandon, Oregon and there was a Rum tasting room, so I bought and bottle of rum and also a bottle of vodka. Distilled in Oregon. Tried the local wines too. No beer this trip ;(

Looks like a good reason to go to Oregon.
