Not like the weenie .357 Magnum (lite) factory loads of today.
I have always held the opinion that the vaunted 125 grain .357 Magnum load was much overrated and the cartridge is at its best with full powered 158 grain to 173 grain bullets. Save the lighter weights bullets for lesser cartridges.
The lead bullets Remington provided back in the day were dead soft lead with little to no alloying metal and were covered with some sort of nasty black lube that hardened on the bullet. The bullets would expand because they were soft, but they leaded one's revolver bore like fiends, making bore cleaning a chore.
At six dollars and a nickel per box, stack 'em up until I can't see over the top of 'em!
And no, they won't chamber in that Speedmaster, heh!
