nice collection! I read recently that Walther has brought back the .32 in the PPK, and it seems like that may perhaps be goldilocks for me. I've owned a .380 PPK, which I found to be very unpleasant to shoot, and a .22 which jammed constantly.

I am a bit taken back by the pricing of the new PPK, but I guess it's still so popular that they can demand that kind of money these days.

Any thought? Anyone?
One of mine is .32 cal, these are all older ones with the exception of the obvious S&W (which is also a carry piece too).

What are you all using for CCW? I use a modern J in a pinch, but I’m really getting into CZ (da/sa) for my autos.

I carry a Colt New Agent or a Colt Detective Special. I have carried a J frame off and on over the years and it is just about the most concealable gun I've owned.

Very nice. I just picked this up, a Shadow 2 Carry. Not as sexy, but I really like the ergos and want to try something modern in 9.

It is like the love child of the Shadow 2 and the P-01. They just came out didn't they? How do you like it?

It just came out, yes. I had been waiting on the “carry” version as it has a decocker. I really like the Shadow ergos. I get to take it out this weekend.

I keep this in the Tahoe. Just in case

My truck gun is a 30-30 lever, kind of wish I would have went 45-70.

Here are the three main toters, fit for any occasion.

Have owned this Smith & Wesson Model 10 Heavy Barrel .38 Special since December of 1975. Sees the most use, including hunting, fishing, and hiking duties on our old family place.

Favorite automatic for carry is the one on bottom here, a blued 1967 vintage Colt Government Model .45. An older photo; both these pistols are somewhat more worn at present.

For a back-up or when I can't contrive to well conceal the other two larger handguns, this 1985 vintage Smith & Wesson Model 649 .38 Special is used.

My 3” Python after 200 rnds. I installed the Eagle boot grips, thinking I may carry it. Not unpleasant to fire, but not fun either. It’s not going to be carried, needless to say. Just a touch too big for how many rnds it provides. Btw, does anyone have an OG Python snub? I ordered a Kramer as I was told this would still work in the original’s holster. It doesn’t. I don’t own one those and I’d like to give it to someone who could use.

In case you come across the odd Buffalo.
Mate of mine says this has become his favourite round to use to use for target, loading them a little hot.

Ya, it’s an iconic round, for a lever.

I would have a collection of levers if I could justify it, the handgun rounds of 357 or 44ag (which are common) would be fun to pair with the same cal revolver.
