Grip module arrived. Didn't change the overall footprint of the weapon, but did get rid of the annoying seam where the extended mag met the grip. Can pinch badly on a reload...ask me how I know...

Anyway, nice and comfortable now. Great upgrade for the money (less than $100).

The first picture is the pistol as it was. The second and third are of either side after the conversion.
Sig should offer and sell it like that

They do now haha it's the P365X. Only difference at that point of the flat trigger vs my standard trigger. A small difference that doesn't bother me

This is one of my favorites. I've always liked odd calibers. Yes, it is a little big for EDC.

I've always thought of the 41 mag as just a rimmed 10MM. No wonder you like it......👍

True. There can be a very close similarity between the two. When I reload for both, I reload them down, unless I'm reloading .41 mag for my Marlin, then I load 'em hot! But for handguns, I like to keep them down around 1200 fps.

Finally working on assembling some parts to the receiver I was waiting on.

Biggest issue I've had so far is that the aft end of the upper has a larger radius than the charging handle. I spoke with the company that machined the set and although he offered to cut a new one with an unknown lead time, I elected to do some light filing to make it fit right.

On a brief pause until I can get back to my toolbox and grab a few things. That'll be Monday. Then I can assemble the barrel to the upper, affix the gas system and handrail and then check for headspace. Once I'm happy, I'll stake the castle nut and the thing will be ready to rock.

I do think after I break it in, I'll tear it down and send it off for cerakote, but that's still a maybe at this point.

Don't think I'd want to carry that without a holster. Might accidentally cut something important.

Just picked up this HK Volkspistole 70 and am looking for a holster. The only person on line that was making them is gone. Can anyone recommend a good holster maker in the US? Germany might be a better option for finding one, but no luck so far.

Call El Paso Saddlery. I get the sense they will build to order especially if you can supply the gun, but who knows about that, right?

That said, a lot of pistols fit a small number of belt-slides. I have one from Bianchi that will fit darn near every pistol issued even if it is for the 1911.

300 Bo nerd here. Ammo used to be affordable for these and great knock down power for the hogs.

I'd definitely second El Paso Saddlery, they make great holsters.
