My model 1906 Luger and its old flap holster. Im not a real big fan of European leather military/police holsters because the quality of the leather never seems to be that good. I've got a new holster on order from El Paso Saddlery for the Luger and will show it off in a couple of months when I receive it.

I was shooting some black powder firearms with a buddy of mine who in really into them. He has an original Brown Bess but we were using modern replica ones. I couldn’t snap pics as he got this anti tech thing when using such weapons. I have shot black powder before but damn it’s been a while and I forgot the amount the amount of smoke created by these weapons. I try to picture what the battlefields of that era must have looked like but tbh I can’t, how did they see anything back then? I don’t hunt anymore and I’m down to just one rifle myself but I never pass up a day to do some target shooting, it’s always a lot of fun.

Decisions, decisions. My life is so hard sometimes, should I shoot the 4 1/4," or the 6," or both?

Here's my first contribution of vintage leather. This Tom Threepersons holster was made for my dad by an old Mexican cowboy that lived near us when I was a kid in central Colorado. It's not all that old, only going back to the mid to late 70s but is definitely of an older style pattern with the retention strap going over the grip safety instead of over the back of the slide.

love the artwork! Great mobile home for your Delta Elite !

Be fair to both of them and give them a chance to show off! Beautiful guns!

Any advice on a holster for my new Ruger Vaquero?

I really like El Paso Saddlery's work. Right now they are making me a holster for my Luger. Pictured here is my holster and cartridge slides they made for my New Service last year. While this one here is plain Jane they also do some nice tooling from what I've seen.

Digging around in the safe I pulled out the Slovakian Grand Power 9mm
It feels really nice in the hand. My only double action hammer fired semi. Has a non-traditional take down by pulling out and down the trigger guard. The grip is very ergonomic compared to the chunky Glock 19.
Guess I’ll take it out for a spin soon.

Picked up this little guy last week. Sig P365...great little shooter. All my friends tell me they’re coming to my house when the zombie apocalypse happens. Found this little grip extension to prove them right 😁

Excellent little pistol. I keep recommending it to friends, which I don't do often

My buddy got the SAS version...anti snag...it’s very interesting...the integrated sight is strange at first but the gun essentially is smooth all over. All parts that normally would be accessible to your fingers are integrated and made flush so no snagging when drawn from the holster...not for me but very cool.

Interesting design philosophy, but my biggest issue with the SAS is that it's dependent upon ambient light to make the sight useable. For this reason I much prefer the tritium sights on the standard model. Moreover, I'm mentally accustomed to the standard sight and found myself too focused on the sight and not enough on the target worth the SAS. But to each their own. I still think it's a fine offering from a reputable company

Totally agree....first time I sighted it, I was in the store under fluorescent light and was amazed how bright it was...got into the range and almost could not find the sight! Very dim. It’s definitely not a gun to try and get a good grouping at 15 yards ...but what little micro gun is. It definitely will serve its purpose.....,We’re big Sig fans...I have a 320 and two frames, full size and compact and my wife has a beautiful 229 stainless elite with the rosewood handle. And now the 365 with standard sights.

Hope you told your friends they are Shit out of luck when the Zombie apocalypse happens.

The more I look in the gun safes the more I realize I have a lot of handguns, rifles, shotguns I never shoot.
Bring on the zombies I guess.

from earlier today in Iowa. Be very very quiet so the turkey’s don’t hear.

Had my dads shotgun, probably a 100 years old almost

needless to say the turkeys are safe. Probably just have to go to Safeway if I really want to bag a turkey

I’m in the same boat. But I suppose, like watches.....when someone asks me....how many more guns/watches do you need? I always say...”just one more” Yup.....Bring on the Zombies 😁

Unfortunately since nearly all my friends are long dead if they come at all it will be to eat my brain.
