I really don't think that this one has any LUME at all.

LUME is not on the features list.

No LUME might be a deal breaker. Every Moonwatch has to have LUME.

The last Snoopy ceramic bezel was lumed .....

When I say cute, I mean novel and not particularly interesting.

Your obviously not 12 😉

Hands appear to have lumes as well as the indices dots... Just need confirmation, when a lume shot is posted.

That's what I was thinking when I looked at it too, and I thought do they just assume that we assume that LUME is standard and they don't need to specify it on the list of features.

I need to see a LUME shot.

Anyone else see a new service tier coming in 5 years? "With case back movement = $995"

Ok it definitely has LUME lol. You can chill on that.

I prefer 45th personally. But its a cool execution and I love the caseback feature. Omega always has a trick up the sleeve.

The blue is a nice touch. LOVE the case back! Price is kinda expected given what they’ve been asking for the anniversary pieces recently. Overall it will be a unique piece in my collection. I’ll be going for it!

Don’t want to turn this into an investment thread but I can really see this trading over twice MRSP in the years to come due to the “Snoopy factor”

I think the price is reflective of around a 1k premium for the 3861 if not a 1.5k premium (GBP)

Sign of things to come on the standard moonwatch next year.

Then add the remainder for all the extra stuff, ceramic bezel, caseback, design and dial.

It is not a limited edition.... So most likely not.

Love the overall look and colours of the new Snoopy, case back is pretty awesome too although a tad "gimmicky". Love the fabric band but definitely needs a quality clasp.

As for the price, definitely over priced, but at least I'll have time to save up for one of it's not limited!

I think Omega might've shot themselves in the foot a bit by calling it non-limited, my guess is it will still be limited production due to unique features of the watch (caseback, snoopy subdial, silver dial, etc.), they're not going to pump these out at the same volume as a standard speedy. I think given all the uncertainty with COVID they didn't want to hard commit to a specific number without seeing what demand was first, this lets them adjust to meet demand more flexibly but it doesn't make sense to keep on making this model for the next 5 years when it's specifically a 50th anniversary edition.

That being said, I think they're trying to establish this price for the 3861 movement (with A11 50th and now this), I wouldn't be surprised to see a meaningful price hike once they switch most speedy models over to the 3861 and get it flight certified.

Absolutely love it. Perfect.

First, that back. The Earth rise is the most iconic image and perhaps important that came out of Apollo. The etching of the moon is incredible. It is perhaps too good as it is so clear. And the blue of the earth against the moon. Perfect. The 14 second CSM movement? A brilliant design concept, whether or not you like the idea. That is unexpected.

The dial. Come on! Only a couple pandas and a couple blue. Here it's both. Love the applied features as it's a level of craftsmanship above paint. Has the best features of the gemini and Olympic 2020 blues.

That strap with the flight path on the inner side? Again, a bonus to the designer who came up with that.

Even the snoopy is great. I wasn't crazy about the last snoopy drawing. This fits. It could easily be cheesy but it seems appropriate.

And the movement is the best. Yes, it moves away from the traditional, but it's a coaxial certified movement among the best. That helps to justify the cost more than a few design elements or an LE, which it is not of course. And you have the DON if you want that traditional connection.

Even fixed the box. Not too big, not too small, just right. The goldilocks effect.

It's not an LE! No complaints about flippers and scalpers. True, at this price it's not egalitarian, but it can still be aspirational. A LE is not.

I sound like a raving fan boy, but I did not begin as one. I was sceptical, if not unenthusiastic except for the fun in anticipating a new release. I really like this. Hats off to an innovative design team as well as a company who can innovate and maintain its tradition at the same time. Not an easy accomplishment. If nothing else, this encourages my sense that Omega is not in decline or resting on its laurels but is a company that is staking a claim for the future.

Did I say I like it?

I think the non LE is a very good move.

Putting a hard limit on it seems counterintuitive and I've never truly understood why Omega did this in the past.

However now, they have the chance to ascertain demand and produce a number of watches to give a steady flow. Just like other brands and models.

It gives everyone a chance to get one, even though it may take a few years. I suspect this will be popular and I doubt very much wether omega will flood the market.

I guess, like the 321 ed white re-edition, it will be produced in fairly low numbers yearly and AD's may only see 1-4 per year.
