Snoopy 3 on steel bracelet. This or that?

I like the left one best for these reasons:
- it's less tapered, so the head of the watch doesn't seem bigger in proportion, or the bracelet doesn't seem too much narrow
- it's less polished, so less shiny, so less elegant, so more sportier, so like the watch itself
- it's less polished, so more brushed, so it's more like the case itself
- it's less polished, so more brushed, so less light-reflecting, so a little "darker", so it correctly has more contrast with the silver dial

All good points. I also prefer the 1 on the left.

The thin accents of polish on the left bracelet, are less flashy than the blinged-out edge links on the right. I also prefer the non-taper design, for Speedy with lyre lugs. If this was on a FOIS case with those long straight lugs, then I'd go for the bracelet on the right. But given the lyre lugs, my eyes find the bracelet on the left more harmonious.

I prefer the one on the right by far in this comparison, however I think it still looks better on blue strap. Personally I have too much steel in my collection and I’d like the color. My only qualm is that it should have a deployant. I get the pin buckle to not obscure that magical case back, but how hard is it to unlatch a deployant??

Since you are so handy please mock it up on a 1450
Are you sure the 1450’s 808 end links would actually fit between the Snoopy 3 lugs; they don’t on my Tokyo Panda but do on my 1990 Speedy Pro....been trying a few permutations and combinations lately.

The 1450 is quite a bit different to the 1171. The 1450 is more like a flat link on the underside.

Not quite the 1450 (couldn't find a good pic to make it happen), but this should give you an idea on what it might look like.

I am a bracelet guy and definitely prefer the flat link. I think the taper and larger polished sections contribute to a more elegant appearance that matches the special nature of this piece. That being said it will look great on straps and nato's too!

From my past experience when the 808 doesn't fit the 809 does 😉
Here is my Tintin on the 809 because the 808 didn't fit.

Having just gone through the whole set of modern Omega Speedy bracelet, Omega 1450/808, US Mexico Holzer, US Flatlink and Forstner Flatlink I’m starting to wonder if the cases in the early 1990s (861) had slightly wider lug widths than the latest 1861/3861 models.

I honestly prefer the fabric strap it comes with due to the contrasting color and more utilitarian look. The bracelets make it look too dressy imo. If I had to pick, I would go with the flatlink (right side).

I think the flatlink bracelet in the photoshop is from the A11 50th, which is 20mm.
totally agree.. Love the fabric strap!! I have so many black face bracelet Rolex... not complaining.. lol.. but can't wait for this one.. Jan Feb.. Canada!!

I'm like you i prefer the left one as the brushed outer links blend more naturally where it meets the case as it is also brushed on the front of the lugs, it looks more sporty that way, i do like the right one as it looks more classy but think if the outer links were brushed and the inner ones polished it would suit the watch better.
I have a 2016 Aqua Terra Bond watch which came with both stainless and cordura strap, i much prefer to wear it on the stainless as the cordura just looks too narrow so will know doubt get a stainless to go on the Snoopy, also it would have been nice if it came on a deployant clasp as per my Aqua Terra as they're just so much easier and neater than a standard buckle so another reason i will prefer it on a stainless.
