Snoopy 3 on aftermarket strap or bracelet?

Just some weeks back, I finally took delivery of my Snoopy 3. Thing is, I am really not a fan of the original strap -- despite having worn it a couple of times, it does not seem to have "softened" and I have finally decided to swap it out. While I am playing with the idea of the 3861 bracelet or the mesh bracelet in SS, I was also wondering if anyone has explored swapping to an aftermarket leather strap? Blue? Brown? Black?

I've searched the internet and have not seen many examples, so I am having trouble visualizing how it may look.

Thanks in advance OF and happy #speedytuesday 馃榾

Before you go the route of a different strap or a bracelet, why not purchase an aftermarket deployant buckle which will alleviate dealing with a stiff strap every time you put it on and take it off. I had the Snoopy strap on another watch and I put on a Fluco deployant for less than $30 and that made it an easier watch strap to live with. But I finally decided I just didn't like the strap color or material and finally switched to something else. But if the stiffness is giving you heartburn try a DP buckle first.

3861 bracelet, you won't need anything else.
I have mine on this too. I鈥檇 have probably preferred the flat link, but this is a good fit. I actually have the same issue as you in that I think the original strap is crap (and I鈥檓 being kind), although as above the deployant is an option. For the first week or so, I wore mine on a speedy Tuesday leather. Not too bad, but doesn鈥檛 really go with the watch. If you don鈥檛 want a bracelet, a nice blue suede or supple blue leather will be a great option.

How about a quality rubber strap would look nice in my opinion.

When I first got mine, I put it on an OEM rubber strap with deployant. This is the only picture I have of it on the rubber strap.

Don鈥榯 believe what everybody says. It fits without any alteration, just use thinner springbars.

I really appreciate your post.
Anyway, I prefer 3861 pro bracelet, but it's good to know for the future.

I went to the OB yesterday to switch to the OEM rubber strap. These straps are still available but are getting hard to get according to the OB. It鈥檚 20mm tapers to 18mm.

Original cordura looks awesome. I'd fins a way to soften it as I had a DSOTM with a worked in strap it was amazing.

Does anyone know if the Planet Ocean 600m 42mm rubber strap will fit the 50th silver Snoopy?

This thread is proof Omega actually made some Snoopys. Any chance we'll see some more on the market for less than $100K?

This bracelet is just amazing, i installed it on ST1 and actually thanks to its fit and thanks to how it feels on the wrist, my ST1 is getting some serious wrist time! It was on the uncle seiko before and there cannot be any comparison whatsoever.

I purchased the same you did - Fluco - (thank you), and I love it!! That鈥檚 exactly what I needed!

I saw the snoopy last week on the 50th anniversary and the 2021 3861 bracelet right next to each other.
